Prix ​​propriété

Vin issu d'un vignoble d'environ 3 hectares, propriété de Grégoire Deniau, fils de Jean-François Deniau, ancien académicien, écrivain et ministre et vinifié par Michel Gendrier. Le nom de cette cuvée était d'ailleurs avant le décès de JF Deniau "cuvée Jean-François Deniau".

C'est une parcelle très bien exposée, un peu à l'écart et entourée de bois. L'été, ambiance un peu "chaudron" et le vin montre ainsi un caractère plus solaire. Le sol est composé de sable, d'argile et de silex.

Vignes conduites selon les principes de l'agriculture biologique certifiée et de la biodynamie comme le reste du vignoble des Huards.

Cerise sur le gâteau, vin très peu sulfité : 15 mg/l de SO² total et 2 mg/l seulement de SO² libre.

Dégustation : la robe est grenat translucide. Le nez est aérien, diffusé, sur la cerise compotée, le pot-pourri floral et les épices douces. La bouche est à la fois ample et élancée, avec d'une part une matière une matière soyeuse qui vous nappe tout le palais, et d'autre part une tension qui vous happe dès l'attaque pour ne plus vous lâcher. Le tout est porté par une énergie tellurique, avec un côté pierreux/minéral très marqué, apportant du fond et de la profondeur. Cette tension se prolonge en finale sans le moindre durcissement – ​​on se croirait "sur schistes" – sur une cerise plus concentrée et confite, puis persistante longuement sur des notes salines et épicées.

Because the author does not rely on market studies to carry out his boat. He makes his wine as he feels, as he likes, as he can, sometimes ... and too bad if he does not please everyone.

This is why author wines are sometimes classified as "table wine" or "France wine". Because the winemaker did not plan the authorized grape variety*, makes the assembly or vinification recommended in the name **. He is often a bit rebellious, our author. But that is why we like it! ... That said, author's wines are not systematically marginal: they are present in most of the appellations, and can be part of the elite of these this***. As author's wines are not chaptalized, levied, hacked ... They can have very different profiles depending on the vintage. It is up to us (resellers and consumers) to accept them as they are, and to remain faithful to the producers, because they need us to continue their activity.
